  • Use disposable items for easy cleanup (don't forget things like plastic bags and disposable containers).
  • Make a menu (and keep it simple) and a corresponding list of everything you will need to pull off the tailgate party.
  • Prepare as much as you can before you get to the event.
  • Just remember to have fun — that is why you’re tailgating in the first place.
  • Be mindful of your food temperatures. Keep hot foods hot and cold foods cold. Don’t ruin a good time by getting sick.
