Time left to register for Camp Invention

Children will design miniature amusement park rides, create safe vehicles and brainstorm on Planet ZAK as part of the Camp Invention program.

The program is July 17-21 at Danville-Neel Elementary and July 24-28 at Barkley Bridge Elementary School in Hartselle.

The camp will feature a different curriculum from the past two years at Danville-Neel.

Camp Invention is open to all area children entering first through sixth grades and fosters creativity, teamwork, inventive-thinking skills and science literacy.

The program features a low staff-child ratio, with one staff member for every eight children. The $209 registration fee includes daily snacks and a T-shirt. Each program is limited to 110 children.
